Basic How-To Instructions - See how simple it is

Step 1: Insert a magazine into the Springloader™. The back, or primer end of the round, should be completely under the plunger mechanism. There is an adjustment screw on the front & lower part of the loader's magazine housing. Screw it in until the ammo magazine is held snugly to the back of the loader, but still permits the magazine to slide easily up and down. This enables you to fit several different caliber sized magazines into a single loader and still assure the plunger makes good contact with the rounds that are already inserted into your magazine. It is necessary for the Plunger to fully contact the back end of the round. If the plunger touches the rear of the magazine's frame, it is not being held back far enough, and it will be difficult to push down the already inserted rounds to make room for a new insert.

Step 2: Push down on the Empty magazine until the plunger depresses the top of the magazines sliding mechanism and leaves just enough room to gently insert a round. Ideally you can almost drop it in. Push the round back until it touches the front of the plunger. Then release pressure on the plunger and let the round "catch" on the lip. Then, all you have to do is use your finger to slide the now inserted round completely to the back of the magazine.

Step 3: Just repeat the above "Step 2" until the magazine is fully loaded. Spring tension in the magazine may become somewhat stubborn toward the last round, so if you need a bit more pressure, use your free hand to press down on the top of the Springloader™ just enough to clear the space for inserting the last round. The loader is designed to be able to apply a considerable amount of pressure, far beyond what you could do with just your hands. So, don't press too hard or you could damage either the round or your magazine.
